Authorized User

What is an Authorized User?

NIMAC Authorized Users (AUs) are designated by a State Coordinator. Once an AU is registered with the NIMAC, the AU can search for and download files, or assign files to Authorized Media Producers (AMPs) for conversion into required formats.

    In February 2021, the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled issued new eligibility guidelines. The NIMAC has updated its NIMAC Coordination Agreement and Limitation of Use Agreement to align with the changes.
